This election is not about Harris vs. Trump — it is not about electing the first woman to be president — it is not just about the single issue of abortion or the 2nd Amendment or “The Green New Deal” or closing the border or fracking or out of control crime in our streets or TRILLIONS of dollars of National Debt, etc etc . . . it is not about any inflammatory issue the media keeps spewing about the candidates’ past, personality or idiosyncrasies. All of that rhetoric is just a tactic so citizens get distracted about what is REALLY HAPPENING in our country.
This 2024 election is about ONE THING – ONE FUNDAMENTAL CHOICE!!! It is not a choice between two candidates – it is a choice between two VISIONS for AMERICA !!! Do you want America to be a Socialist country OR do you want America to remain a Republic (some call it a Democracy) with the FREEDOMS and RIGHTS our Founding Fathers created for us?
If Harris/Walz and the “man behind the curtain pulling the strings . . . or should I call them — the oligarchs pulling the strings and controlling the Democratic Party . . . if they win this election — then America and Americans lose!
Most people realize that Harris and Walz are just “puppets” in this 2024 battle for power and control over America! There is a group of oligarchs (hiding behind the curtain) who – if Harris and Walz are elected — will rule America and our country we once knew and love will circle the drain and become unrecognizable.
In this 2024 Election, Harris/Walz are selling us SOCIALISM — which — make no mistake about it — is the road to COMMUNISM. They want to redistribute the wealth in our nation on the pretense of making “everything equal for everyone.”
To some people, Socialism sounds like Heaven and might even feel like a better way of life to them. However, what Socialism REALLY means is – the government will — instead of raising the bar and bringing everyone UP – they will LOWER THE BAR for EVERYONE — and make everyone MEDIOCRE.
A Simple Way to Explain the “isms”
In the mid 1980’s I cut the above Dear Abby column out of The Washington Post and placed it in my photo album. Although it is yellowed with age, it is a simple way to describe the complex difference between the “isms” Abby’s answer, “A vote is taken and whatever the majority decides to do – you do – and that’s no bull!”
This spotlights the importance of EACH VOTE — it is every American citizen’s RIGHT, PRIVILEGE and RESPONSIBLY to VOTE — and this 2024 election is more crucial than ever — YOU have to make a CHOICE: Socialism or Republic/Democracy/FREEDOM.
Think about This . . .
If the government takes from the hard working Americans and gives it to the “have nots” — then– eventually, the hard working people will figure out — why work so hard if I can’t keep what I’ve earned? Eventually, they will stop being productive — which means there will eventually not be as much money to TAKE from those hard working people because they will stop producing as much thus stop earning as much. Then . . . the slippery slope picks up speed . . . not only will there be less tax money collected . . . there will be less FOOD grown and produced, less motivation to find cures and/or inventions, less desire to fill the shelves at the store with products we currently enjoy and the list goes on and on . . .
Margaret Thatcher (Prime Minister of the United Kingdom between 1979 to 1990) spoke wisely when she said, “The trouble with socialism is eventually you run out of other people’s money.”
In a socialist society, you don’t have to be a rich person to lose what you have accumulated – – you just have to have more than the person who doesn’t have very much.
Socialism not only hurts large and small business owners — it spreads like a cancer to all other fields and professions as well. Why study hard to be a great doctor — why work to be an amazing musician or artist — why be a great teacher — why work your butt off as a farmer, electrician, or plumber if the government is going to take your hard earned money and spread it around to other people?
This includes ALL professions. Why push yourself to be the BEST PERSON you can be. Why do the BEST JOB you can do – if in the end – there is no “reward” for your time, energy and hard work because everyone “shares” – as a result, everyone is “average” like everyone else?
Here is a GREAT ANALOGY You Can Share with Your Children
No matter the age of a child, he/she can understand the analogy above!
Socialism/communism takes away an individual’s “purpose” in life – no MOTIVATION to excel – and no need to work toward success because it will no longer be rewarded. With socialism/communism – there will be no reward for big dreams, hard work, long hours, commitment, determination risk/reward – Instead, we will all be “equal” and the Oligarchs will be filthy rich and super powerful with all of the control while the majority of the people will just be pawns in their little chess game.
Be smart — The Democratic Party’s big government socialist agenda is NOT the answer to our problems — big socialist government IS why our country has so many problems. Remember the old adage —- “Any government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have.” Quote unknown but it is sometime credited to Thomas Jefferson and also Paul Harvey in his 1952 book.
Maybe everybody should watch the movie — Dr. Zhivago — be sure to read up on some early 1900s Russian history before watching the movie. It can be very enlightening — and scary — too see the many parallels between that era and our current situation in America.
If Socialism wins – the American Dream loses!
The “American Dream” does not promise that everyone will be “equal” and everything will be “fair.” The American Dream promises that everyone has an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY to succeed – but success does not land in your lap because you “dream it” – success takes hard work and determination.
If our country votes for Socialism — that means the American Dream dies for our citizens and it also dies for all of those people who come to America working hard and doing the BEST to achieve the American Dream of a good life, success and a better tomorrow for their children and grandchildren.
Ask Yourself this Question . . .
If the American Dream dies in America – where do all of those immigrants go who are searching for a better life? America is the last line of defense against a new world that wants everyone to be “equal” and “average”
I will leave you with my favorite John F. Kennedy quote, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what YOU can do for your country.” The best thing we – as Americans – can do for our country is STAND UNITED, vote AGAINST Socialism and work hard to make our dreams come true!
